The Basilica organ was manufactured by the Casavant Freres firm of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec in 1919.  The tonal design is French Romantic and the console design is French terrace.  The organ consists of 51 ranks over 3 manuals and pedal and contains about 2,950 pipes.  In 2014 the organ was completely removed and cleaned. The console was refinished and updated with solid state electronics.
